Main Features

1) Signal Collection: Collect the measurement pulse signal of mechanical water meter, process and storage the data.

2) Record: Record the water consumption quantity of the past 12 months

and record the numbers and time of the magnetic disturbance.

3) Alarm and Control: Automatically record the events of low battery voltage and magnetic disturbance.

Water meter with valve control will close the valve automatically to alarm.

4) Anti-attack

a. When magnetic disturbance occurs, the meter will automatically record this event;

water meter with valve control will close the valve simultaneously and then open 10 minutes later.

When the times of magnetic disturbance accumulate to four, only the management department can command the valve to open.

Information like the times and time of magnetic disturbance can be transmitted to the management department through the RS-485 communication ports.

The Management department can make analysis and deal with it according to the transmitted information.

b. Water meter with valve control has been installed special facility to prevent knock-out, and can’t be disassembled by users themselves.

Once users attempt to disassemble the meter by themselves, the valve will close automatically.

In this case, users can’t open the valve, but only the management can command the valve open.

c. Cutting RS-485 signal wires will not affect the measurement function of water meter,

but only affects the communication function. The communication function will resume normally after correcting wire connection.

5) Low Battery Voltage Detection: When the internal battery voltage decreases to 3V,

the water meter will record this event. Water meter with valve control will close the valve after 10 days,

waiting for new battery replacement.

6) Battery and Valve Protection: Meter will activate the battery regularly itself.

Water meter with valve control can also activate the valve regularly.

7) Data Preservation: In case of internal power off and external power off,

the records could be preserved for at least 10 years

Communication: Management can collect the data of water meter by HHU (hand held unit) and the RS-485 communication port of BUS network,

as well as controlling the valve of water meter with valve control.
